BIOGRAPHY

Acklen Walker is a multi-genre artist hailing from the small town of Simpsonville, SC. Born on November 10th, 1992, Acklen showed an interest in music from a young age, starting with piano lessons at the age of six. By the time he was a teenager, he had picked up percussion and the guitar and started writing his own songs.


After graduating high school, Acklen moved to Nashville to pursue his passion for music. He spent several years playing small gigs and writing music, slowly building up a following. In 2019, he released his debut album, "Aphrodite," which received critical acclaim and helped him gain even more fans.


Over the next few years, Acklen continued to release music, including his indie-pop EP, "Inner Nature," which was released in 2021. The album showcased a unique blend of indie-pop and soul, and featured lyrics that were passionate, personal, and reflective.


Acklen's music has been praised for its emotional honesty and his ability to capture the small moments that make life meaningful. His lyrics often touch on themes of love, loss, and the struggle to find one's place in the world. Musically, he draws inspiration from a wide range of genres, from hip-hop to 80’s pop and indie-rock.
